Kaftans are something I fell in love with when I started making Kimonos. I would check the hang of the Kimono after I cut it out and before all the bindings were sewn on. I decided that I'd make one up as soon as I had the time.
It turned out even better than I thought. A kaftan is wonderfully versatile.
It offers almost complete coverage which means it can be worn as a dress, a beach cover up or a muumuu (stay tuned, I want to bring the muumuu back!)
It has deep armholes and side slits for maximum comfort and movement.
They are a free size - some fabric widths vary slightly so the width is listed under each individual product
